Wisdom is sometimes too long for Twitter...

I'm reading Free Culture (which I recommend) by Lawrence Lessig and found a quote I really liked. I would've liked to share it on Twitter, but it was too long.

It's not really by Lessig, it's actually Thomas Jefferson:

"He who receives an idea from me, receives instruction himself without lessening mine; as he who lights his taper at mine, receives light without darkening me."

I like to think it is in that state of mind that I teach, I blog, I talk, ...
